I remember writing that line on the day Toyota's GT86 arrived and thinking just how true it was.
My first encounter with the car had been interesting, to say the least. The back end had stepped neatly out on a traffic island and stayed there under perfect control with minimal effort, so I really felt that my statement summed things up well.
But as I watched the item go out on Motors TV I had a nagging feeling that someone would have something to say about it... And they did...
It wasn't long before we'd received half a dozen e-mails demanding that I back my statement up with some hard evidence, so when the GT86's sister car, the Subaru BRZ, arrived I jolly well did.
